Kazumitsu Akamatsu Sculptor, novelist, and the founder and president of the soft vinyl brand “MARMIT.” Born in 1962, he studied under Tohl Narita, the exclusive designer for Ultraman, during his student years, and participated in the art production of numerous tokusatsu (special effects) works. In 1984, he joined Takara (now Takara Tomy), where he led product development for IPs such as The Brave Series, Magical Circle Guru Guru, and Electroid.
