Turn your character ideas into reality in this four-week guided journey. You will build a unique Magic Warriors band, a brotherhood and sisterhood where every battle is a test of their skill, their spirit, and their very humanity. Each week, you’ll build a new creative skill—developing your original character, crafting a manga page story, illustrating a sticker pack, and polishing your work for the release. Twice a week, join live Discord sessions tailored to your schedule: a creative coworking meetup for collaboration and a mentor-led feedback session to refine your work with expert advice. By the end, you’ll have a finished collective project released on Metalabel, new artistic confidence, and a community to keep you motivated. Over the course of four days, participants will co-create original concepts and develop designs for their own merch collections. Guided by professional mentors in Tokyo, you will work under a shared theme while exploring how to transform your original characters, stories, and motifs into tangible items – all united by the common theme of Harajuku culture. One design per participant – concluding the Residency, we will release the collection of Merchandise in collaboration with VOGRACE and SOMSOC GALLERY!
